Big 12 Football Championship Game
At the conclusion of each college football season, the Big 12 Conference determines their season champion with the playing of the Big 12 Football Championship Game. The Big 12 Championship matches the Big 12 North Champions against the Champs of the Big 12 South. Entering the 2008 college football season, the Oklahoma Sooners have the most appearances in the Big 12 Championship Game going 5-1 in six appearances. Three other schools, Nebraska, Texas & Colorado have appeared in the Big 12 Championship four times apiece.
