Big12-fans.com 2006 Big 12 Baseball Preview -
Baylor Bears
Looking at last years rosters and numbers the first thing that comes to
mind is, how did they do what they did? The batting numbers were far
from excellent and aside from the top of the rotation the pitching was
not the greatest. The Bears were, however, able to ride their top
pitchers to a number 4 ranking in the nation. Losing one of their best
bats in Ford and 2 of their top five pitchers is a huge blow to the
team. Baylor should make the post season with ease, but do they have
enough to get back to Omaha? Only if they can get some of the
youngsters to produce at a higher level.
