The Aggies rode a six-game winning streak toward the end of the season to finish in a four-way tie for fourth in the Big 12. A&M lost to Texas Tech in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinals. This is a re-match of the 2008 first round meeting between the Cougars and Aggies. A&M won, 67-62
