NCAA Tournament Recap: #7 Texas vs #2 Duke

East Regional Matchup

No. 2 Duke (30-6) 74, No. 7 Texas (23-12) 69

Key Moment: When Texas' Damion James' 3-pointer rimmed out with 3 seconds left, the Blue Devils. Plus, the Blue Devils won the 50-50 balls in the last 25 seconds.
High Point Scorers: Duke -- Gerald Henderson 22  Texas -- A.J. Abrams 17
Analysis: Duke's crutch -- the 3-point shot -- was its ally as the Blue Devils were 7-of-14 from beyond the arc. But the Blue Devils also blew a 10-point lead and watched the Longhorns tie it twice in the last two minutes. Texas dominated the paint with James' 15 points. However, the Longhorns can point to 16-25 on free throws that cost them. The Blue Devils are now 12-0 in NCAA tournament games in North Carolina. One of the better games in the tournament. But the Blue Devils got a great game from Gerald Henderson who had 24 points.
What's Next: The Blue Devils advance to the Sweet 16 and will meet No. 3 seed Villanova which knocked off No. 6 UCLA, 89-69. It will be one of the better regional semifinal matchups between Henderson and Villanova's Scotty Reynolds
